The British actress, 31, poked fun at people who double check on the type of milk in their coffee as a Game of Thrones meme of Daenerys Targaryen went viral on social media today. Rebecca Humphries, who previously dated comedian Seann Walsh, 33, for five years before he was spotted kissing his Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones, 29, shared the picture, which showed the Mother of Dragons smiling as if sarcastically, with her 30,000 Twitter followers. With users urged to caption the image, she quipped: “‘Just checking this is definitely oat milk?’” Soon after, Stacey Dooley, 32, shared Rebecca’s post with her own 289,000 followers, revealing the joke could apply to her.
“ME,” she exclaimed, clearly entertained by Rebecca’s comment as she added a laughing emoji and a weary one.
“(No, but srsly, is it?)”(sic) she added.
Stacey and Rebecca follow each other and have previously interacted on the social media platform while the latter was still in a relationship with Seann.
Near the beginning of last year’s series of Strictly, Stacey uploaded a fun video of herself trying on a huge curly blonde wig.
Rebecca commented on the clip quipping: “…@seannwalsh?”
In October, the star, who has appeared in numerous stage productions, ITV’s Cockroaches and the BBC’s Hold The Sunset, confirmed she and the comedian had split shortly after he was pictured locking lips with professional dancer Katya.
She also released an open letter on Twitter which revealed the kiss had occurred on her birthday.
“I was alone at home when Sean texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink,” she said.
Documentary filmmaker Stacey recently addressed the Seann and Katya drama telling You Magazine: “When you do what I do for a living, in the scheme of things, it doesn’t bother me who’s kissing who.”
Elsewhere, Stacey is reported to have struck up a romance with her Strictly partner Kevin Clifton, 36, after splitting from her boyfriend Sam Tucknott, 30.
In an interview with The Sun earlier this month, personal trainer Sam claimed Stacey had told him she hadn’t started “entertaining and texting him [Kevin] until I split up with you. I was not with you when we started it all”.
“I did fall for him but when we were done,” Sam claimed Stacey had told him in a message.
Since reports emerged of her romance with Kevin, presenter and Strictly champion Stacey took to Twitter to address the rumours, saying: “Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are 2 sides to every story.
“I haven’t got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I’ve read on here,”(sic) she continued.
“Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward.”(sic)
Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton asking for comment on Sam Tucknott’s claims.
