Cheese lovers may need to sit down for this; a bottomless halloumi brunch exists, and it’s coming to London.
For one month only, the city is getting a brand new halloumi pop-up restaurant with some seriously delicious sounding dishes, all centred around the squeaky cheese.
And of course, bottomless bubbles. Basically, it sounds absolutely brie-lliant.
Las Banderas in Soho will be offering up the exciting menu created by chefs Francis Puyat and Andrew Zilouf of 100 Hoxton.
Dishes will include Croque Cypressa (sourdough, halloumi marmita mornay, grilled halloumi, pork belly and fried eggs), Eggs and Soldiers with tyropita halloumi toast and halloumi fondue, a Halloumi Finger Hash Sandwich, a ‘Halloumopitta’ with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon taramasalata and sourdough.

For those with more of a sweet tooth, there’s the Halloumi waffle with crispy bacon, fried eggs, carob syrup, candied walnut, halloumi ice cream and strawberries, or the Halloumi Aubergine Pancake including spiced halloumi popcorn and carob syrup.
And to wash it all down, diners can choose from bottomless Fig and Campari Spritz or Harissa Bloody Mary.
The pop-up is the brainchild of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, who ran a similar event last year.
Prices start from £32 per person for a 90-minute session, including one plate of the halloumi dishes and your bottomless drink of choice.

Chef Andrew Zilouf added: "As lovers of innovative food, we were thrilled to partner with the CTO for a second year running for this project and have worked really hard to create a menu that we hope is both inspiring and delicious, the perfect start to the day!"
