Carol Vorderman, 60, opened up to her 458,000 Twitter followers about her love for the television series Keeping Faith. However, she did admit it left her “crying” as she thanked the singer behind the show’s soundtrack.
Carol voiced her love for the Welsh television series this weekend in a hilarious tweet about getting confused about the clocks changing.
The former Countdown presenter wrote: “B***ered up the clocks….woke up at new 6am and thought it was old 7am so thought I’d had a good night’s kip…..nope Vorders it was old 5am (sic).
“EEJIT…..IF I HAD A BRAIN I’D BE DANGEROUS TO KNOW. (sic)
“Bingeing on KEEPING FAITH series 2 now…. #LazyTiredSunday.”
The news she was bingeing Keeping Faith prompted one of her followers to mention how great the soundtrack is.
In response, she admitted: “It’s amazing. It makes me cry so fully x.”
The star then directly tweeted singer-songwriter Amy Wadge who is in charge of the soundtrack to thank her for her work.
She wrote: “Amy @Wadge…is incredible…except she makes me cry so much…but still.”
Her message clearly touched the musician, who responded to Carol on the social media site.
Amy penned: “Thank you so much …. sorry about the crying but thank you.”
Carol then replied: “Ha….a bit… I’m not even joking about the crying….you’re a brilliant young woman….wishing you the best of EVERYTHING XXXX (sic).”
Amy is a Grammy winner who has worked with artists like James Blunt, LeAnn Rimes and Ella Henderson.

This was also not the first time Carol opened up about her love for Keeping Faith as the star spoke about it on her radio show as well.
Speaking on her Saturday slot on BBC Radio Wales, she gushed as she interviewed Celia Imrie who joined the third series.
She said: “As you all know, I love Keeping Faith.
“I mean I’ve been one of its biggest fans since series one and it’s coming back today.
“So I know what I’ll be doing later on today.”
Fans were also left stunned by Carol’s choice of outfit on this weekend’s show.
The presenter donned a red top with red leather trousers to celebrate Wales winning the six nations.
She shared a sultry snap of the look on her Instagram page, much to the delight of her followers.
