Disney Channel actor, Daniel Benson, who starred with Selena Gomez on Wizards of Waverley Place, has given up acting for a career on OnlyFans.
The 35 year old former child star took to TikTok to inform his fans about his change in career direction, as he discussed his mental health.
Dressed in a beige T-shirt as he showed off his many arm tattoos, Dan, who played Zeke Beakerman on the hit Disney show, said: "I've been doing adult entertainment for about a year now."
Speaking about the reaction of his fans and followers and, in turn, his reaction to that, Dan said: "My first reaction is confusion… because I expected a lot more hate.
"And instead, people have just been like 'go you' – empowerment – which is awesome."
He went on to say that he was feeling "good" in terms of mental health.
Dan continued: "I don't feel bad about myself – I fee kind of bad**s about it, a little bit."
He then shared that people "on a daily basis" ask him to "do things that I don't feel comfortable doing," before saying that he thinks: "No, you're gonna get what you're gonna get.
"You're gonna get what I'm comfortable sharing with the world… which now is quite a bit."
Dan said that he is "excited about the future" whilst once again informing his fans that he "doesn't feel bad" about his decisions.
He went on to thank anyone who has checked out his OnlyFans content "or said hi in the comments", before saying that people who had seen him had been giving him "big hugs" which he described as being "really fun for me".
His fans were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: "It's good to have boundaries on what you're comfortable with doing on camera. Keep it up bud."
Another said: "Got to crush on Zeke back in the day and now I crush on Dan currently," whilst a third commented: "definitely a badass… keep being you. take care of your mental health first always."
A fourth added: "Happy for you! Glad to hear you’re doing well and have support :)."
Wizards of Waverley place ran on Disney from 2007 to 2012, and it was one of the channel's biggest shows.
It followed The Russo family, who own a restaurant and lived in New York. However, the father is a wizard while the children are in training, with the idea that the child who mastered the powers was to be given the family wand.
It made stars out of the likes of Selena Gomez, who played Alex Russo, who has gone on to achieve an incredible career as a singer.
She now has a jaw-dropping following of 424million on Instagram.
