Hollywood Rips Donald Trump For 'Heartless' Tweet About California Wildfires: 'Demented,' 'Piece of S—'

“Honestly thought this one was from a parody account,” Zach Braff writes after POTUS’ tweet.

Katy Perry, Ava DuVernay, Ike Barinholtz and Hollywood stars are railing against Donald Trump after he wrote an insensitive tweet in response to the California wildfires.

"There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor," Trump wrote Saturday morning. "Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!"

The horrific Woolsey Fire in Malibu County prompted over 250,000 residents to evacuate and has burned over 150 homes, according to CBS Los Angeles. The massive fire, that has reached over 70,000 acres and was still zero percent contained on Saturday morning, has left two dead. The nearby Hill Fire, that has impacted Ventura County, was 25 percent contained this morning.

Many celebrities have evacuated, including Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Rainn Wilson, Orlando Bloom and Alyssa Milano. "Doctor Strange" director Scott Derrickson’s home burned to the ground. Because of the devasting fires destroying Southern California, Hollywood was again upset with Trump, who decided to blame the state of California for "poor" management, instead of sympathizing those who lost their homes in the tragedy.

"American Idol" judge Perry slammed Trump’s tweet and called his response "heartless."

"There aren’t even politics involved," she wrote. "Just good American families losing their homes as you tweet, evacuating into shelters."

Simarily, DuVernay wrote, "This man is demented. Never stop saying it." "The Oath" star Barinholtz called Trump, who is currently in France to talk about WWI, a "piece of shit" — while Ellen DeGeneres’ EP Andy Lassner called the President a "sociopath" for his insensitive comments.

Comedian Sarah Silverman added that Trump was a "shitty, shitty person" who needs to "stop re-enacting" his father’s "coldness."

Read on to see how Hollywood is reacting to Trump’s tweet.
