Janette Manrara, 36, revealed on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing 2019 podcast alongside Kim Winstone that she got teary-eyed over co-star Anton Du Beke, 53. The seven remaining couples took to Blackpool on Saturday night with veteran Anton getting his first ever 10’s since his debut on the show in 2004.
And then Anton of course choreographed such a beautiful routine. And between the two of them it was magic. And he finally got his 10’s
Speaking about the emotional moment, the Cuban-born dancer could not help but gush over her colleague.
Kim said: “Anton’s first ever 10. Like his first ever.”
Janette replied: “In 17 series Kim he’s been on the show. And finally. You know, I did tear up a little bit when it happened.”
Anton performed a stunning American Smooth to Let’s Face the Music and Dance by Diana Krall, alongside his celebrity dance partner and EastEnders soap star Emma Barton.

The dancing duo stunned judges and viewers alike as they scored an impressive 37 out of 40 points putting them third on the Strictly leaderboard.
It was the first time in the show’s history that the Sevenoaks-born dancer had received two 10’s on Strictly.
Kim, who works behind-the-scenes on the show, explained: “I think what was so nice – because I’ve done the show for 10 years – working on the show you want everyone to do well. So, I think it meant a lot for people behind-the-scenes as well that he finally got that 10.
“Because everyone knew what it meant. When it happened I could see all the pro’s just so excited.”
Jannette interjected with a raucous cheer to further emphasise Kim’s point.
“Obviously, we’re so happy for Emma. But we’re equally delighted for Anton,” the host finished.
Jannette praised the couple’s routine but said it was Anton’s choreography which stole the show.
“It really felt like it was a team effort. Because Emma looked amazing. Hair and make-up, she looked like Ginger Rogers out there,” Jannette admired.

In an interview on the sofa, they chatted with Claudia about how they felt to receive two of the highest marks.
“I never thought, ever, that as Emma Barton, I would be getting a 10 in Strictly Come Dancing,” Emma said, still reeling from Saturday’s scores.
“I’m so grateful, I was just so pleased for him because this is what I wanted to achieve for Anton, the King of Ballroom, at the home of ballroom,” she beamed at her partner.
