Emotional Kate Garraway says her husband Derek Draper is "very changed" after seeing him over the festive period.
The presenter was back on Good Morning Britain today, Thursday 7 January, and shared an update on his progress after a chaotic Christmas.
Although she revealed she could see Derek with their children, Kate says the visit was tinged with real sadness.
The 53 year old is still recovering from Covid-19 after spending most of the summer in a medically-induced coma.

Derek has been hospital since March after the virus wreaked havoc on his body, leaving him with diabetes and holes in his lungs and heart.
Kate took children Darcey, 13, and 11 year old Billy to see their dad and she told fans all about the hospital experience.
Co-host Ben Shephard asked how her Christmas was, and Kate explained: "Well it was tough wasn't it.
"It was tough, tough for everybody.

"There was a lovely moment which we did have. We did, over the period, get to see Derek, and the children did so that was amazing.
"Of course, it was very heightened with emotion, because he's very changed."
She added: "All the routines that we would normally do, it was one of those moments where it was so wonderful, but then it also amplified how sad everything was, does that make sense?"
Kate recently revealed that the family home flooded during the festive season, threatening to ruin Christmas Day.
Then she couldn't get a delivery slot – and was not able to go to the supermarket if she was to see her at-risk husband.
She was saved by Emma Willis, as the presenter arranging for a huge hamper to be sent to the home full of fantastic food.
Kate took to social media to send her thanks.
She wrote: "Have been quiet for a while – getting through Christmas has been a challenge hasn't it with all the emotions it stirs in our strange world & no where really to put them – except in hope.
"@emmawillisofficial & @marksandspencer who made sure we had #gorgeousfood for our dinner when I couldn't get a delivery slot anywhere.
"Also the guys from @britishgas who spent hours on the phone helping me to get a fridge & freezer to put the food in."
