Kelsey Parker left her fans sobbing with tears as she shared a poignant video dedicated to her late husband Tom Parker to mark the start of Brain Tumour Awareness Month, and also the lead up to the one year anniversary of his death.
The Wanted singer Tom sadly lost his battle with cancer on March 20 2022, after fighting valiantly to undergo specialist care and experimental treatments to prolong his life.
Tom, who passed away at the age of 33, left behind his wife Kelsey, 32, and their two children Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two.
Sharing a special tribute to her late husband, Kelsey filmed a clip that showed she'd lit a tea light candle in a personalised glass jar.
The holder was engraved with the words: "In loving memory of Tom Parker," and also had the dates he was born and died underneath.
In the background, there was also a special collage of photos of Tom and Kelsey together as she propped it up next to the candle so she could take a moment.
The mum-of-two then played The Wanted's tragic track Gold Forever, with words that made fans even more emotional.
"For Tom. For the 1 in 3 diagnosed and their loved ones. #ShineALight @braintumourrsch," the mum-of-two captioned her post.
"We are all right beside you. What a beautiful candle. x," one fan wrote in support.
Another said: "This gives me goosebumps, every time I listen to this song it makes me cry."
"This song! You are so strong xx," a third said.
While a fourth posted: "Can't believe it's been nearly a year since Tom left us, sending lots of love to you and your family," followed by: "Stay gold forever Tom."
Another fan then added: "Such a beautiful tribute for the most beautiful angel, thinking of you today and always kels he’d be so incredibly proud of you and your babies.
"Sending you so much love, light and strength. Tom is always with you watching over and in everything that you do we’re all right beside you."
It comes as fellow The Wanted band member Siva Kaneswaran broke down during an appearance on Loose Women today (March 1).
The singer, who has been starring on Dancing On Ice, couldn't maintain his composure as he spoke about his beloved friend and the memories they had.
Siva then announced he will be performing a special tribute dance to Tom during the next instalment.
"I wanted to do it on Dancing On Ice, I didn't know if I was going to do it – but this weekend is going to be a tribute to Tom," he said. "This weekend is going to be Gold Forever for Tom, I can't even think straight, I'm just thinking about him.
"We're going to do a nice tribute, a nice dance, to him. I've been very tender this week, very emotional," the star added.
