Steven Avery constantly bragged about becoming a millionaire before he was convicted of murder, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
According to a shocking police report obtained by Radar, the Netflix subject boasted about the possibility of winning a $36 million lawsuit he filed against Wisconsin’s Manitowoc County and its former officials. Avery filed the lawsuit after he spent 18 years in prison for a sexual assault crime he didn’t commit.

According to a family member of the killer, Avery discussed the future payout often.
“He always bragged about his money, all the time,” the family member told authorities.

Plus, the relative recalled Avery acting “invincible” after he was released from prison in 2003.
The Making A Murderer subject’s family member also believed “he could do whatever he wanted to whoever he wanted and nobody was going to stop him,” the report furthered.
In the same interview, the disgusted relative alleged the Wisconsin killer sexually assaulted her when she was a teen, Radar reported.

At the time Avery was gearing up to win the $36 million, he was awaiting trial for homicide-related charges in the death of Teresa Halbach.
Due to the murder trial, Avery and his attorneys agreed to dismiss all of the claims against the county in return for a mere $400,000. He was later convicted of murdering Halbach and sentenced to prison for life.
