One of the suspects accused of the robbery of Kim Kardashian in 2016 has written a tell-all book on the night.

Kim, 40, was gagged, restrained and held at gunpoint in a Paris hotel almost five years ago when five men entered her hotel room and stole more than £7million of jewellery.

Amongst the jewellery stolen was the £3.5million engagement ring she was given by husband Kanye West.

The five men disguised themselves as police officers and were let into the Hotel de Pourtalès by concierge, who was then held at gunpoint until he showed them to Kim's room.

One of the 12 suspects who are waiting to stand trial next year has now written a book about the night, titled J'ai Séquestré Kim Kardashian which translates to I Sequestered Kim Kardashian.

In the book, author Yunis Abbas reveals bizarre details about the night, claiming that Fast Car singer Tracey Chapman tried to call Kim in the midst of the heist.

Yunis added that he had to leave behind a £26,000 necklace at the scene of the crime because he "couldn't carry everything" as his getaway vehicle was a bicycle.

It is believe that Yunnis plans to plead guilty to all charges, but he insists he did not enter the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's room and stayed on the ground floor of the hotel.

He says he has opened up on the night as he has been portrayed as "a very uninviting character," but admits the heist was what "every mobster dreams of."
