Love Island star Liberty Poole has sworn off of using sun beds after a skin cancer scare.
Liberty, 22, discovered a "weird mole" on her tummy shortly after leaving the ITV2 dating show's villa last year.
Dancing on Ice star Liberty, who is rumoured to be secretly dating a carpenter, has been told by doctors the mole is unlikely to be cancerous, but has been advised to get it removed.
She explained: "I used to go on sun beds, but then when I came out of Love Island I had this weird mole pop up on my tummy, so I went to the doctor and got the mole checked out.
"I was worried it could be cancer," Liberty added to The Sun on Sunday.
The reality star continued: "He doesn’t think it’s cancerous, but says it’s best I get it removed in case it turns into something.
"Now I don’t think it’s worth the risk and I use fake tan instead, it can be quite dangerous."
Liberty isn't the only former Islander tp have had a mole removed following a cancer scare as Molly-Mae Hague was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma in 2020.
Molly-Mae later had the mole from the back of her leg removed after it was "caught early".
Speaking of the experience, 22 year old Molly said: "The doctor said that it's really good that we caught it early. He said I'm going to need further surgery. I've already shed tears about it and cried on the phone to every single family member."
Last month, it was reported that Liberty and her Islander BFF Kaz Kamwi were held at knifepoint during their trip to Los Angeles, California.
A source said: "Liberty and Kaz had been just heading to a party and got out of their car in the wrong part of the neighbourhood.
"Out of the blue, this woman appeared with a knife and threatened them.
"Liberty and Kaz were obviously shocked and terrified — especially because guns are legal in the US.
"But fortunately for them, two men who had been walking past came to their rescue and called the police.
"The girls have been left shaken up by the incident and are just surprised that it happened to them.

"But they’re grateful that the two men were in the right place at the right time, to help them."
Speaking on the incident, Liberty has now admitted she is still "trying to process" the ordeal.
Liberty explained: "It was flight or fight, we were so lucky there were bystanders nearby who helped us to get away.
"I’m still trying to process what actually happened.
"It made me realise that life is short and you have to make the most of it."
