Homes Under the Hammer star Lucy Alexander took to Instagram to share her plans to stay “happy and motivated” during lockdown. The TV star, who turned 50 earlier this year, joked that she felt fine going into isolation again, despite not having stockpiled toilet roll or had her hair and nails done.

“Right I need some happiness & joy in my life,” her social media post began today, in view of her 46,400 followers.

“How do we stay happy & motivated in this next lockdown?” the presenter asked.

Sharing her own plans, Lucy continued: “I’m going to walk & cycle with my lovely girl gang and focus on breathing more deeply and staying calm.

“Cozy nights in planned – not too much wine, healthy food and trying to have a routine.”

Using humour to stay in a positive frame of mind, the mum-of-two poked fun at panic buyers adding: “I didn’t get my hair done, didn’t get my nails done OR buy any extra toilet rolls & I feel fine! Remember to also keep laughing.”

She signed off: “Stay safe guys – sending out positive lockdown vibes. #lockdown2 #staycalm #happiness #positivity #laughteristhebestmedicine.”

Lucy’s followers soon took to the comments section to share their thoughts on her post.
