Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their baby girl Lilibet Diana in June, but we’re yet to catch a glimpse of the new royal.
Luckily, Meghan has shared a few details on the five-month-old is doing, and in an upcoming episode of The Ellen Show, she tells the host all about how baby Lili is teething.
The interview, which will air in the US later on Thursday 18 November, will see host Ellen DeGeneres suggest an eyebrow-raising remedy for Lilibet’s teething pain.
In a teaser clip shared online, Meghan tells the host she’s looking for “anything to relieve” her daughter’s teething struggle.
Ellen jokingly responds: “Tequila, anything.”
Meghan jokes back: “That’s Auntie Ellen for you!” as Ellen admits: “That’s why I don’t have kids.”
Meghan’s appearance will mark her second major TV interview since she stepped back from royal duties with husband Prince Harry last year.
The Duchess has been close friends with Ellen since their chance meeting at a dog shelter in Los Angeles, where Ellen encouraged Meghan to adopt her first dog Bogart, and the women have stayed in touch ever since.
The pair now live streets away from each other in Montecito, California – one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in the State.
Harry and Meghan’s mansion is worth $14 million, while reports say Ellen has snapped up a $49 million estate a stone’s throw away.
Ellen lives with her wife, Arrested Development actress Portia de Rossi.
In another teaser clip, the Duchess is seen reminiscing about her days as a struggling actress.
Speaking of her Hollywood auditions, she’s seen remembering her dodgy Ford Explore Sport car: “The key stopped working on the driver’s side.
"After auditions I would park at the back of the parking lot and I would open the trunk and climb in, pull the door shut behind me and crawl over my seats to get out. That’s how I would come to and fro.”
Buckingham Palace may have concerns about Meghan’s TV appearance though – especially after the explosive allegations made on Oprah in March, but the sneak peek shows no signs of worrying remarks.
Another snippet shows the Duchess gushing about her husband, saying she’s “just happy” living in their luxury mansion with Archie and Lilibet.
The pair relocated to the US after stepping down as senior royals, and the Queen is yet to meet her great-granddaughter.
