She may have stepped in to replace an injured Denise Van Outen a few weeks ago, but now Amy Tinkler has left the competition after ending up in the bottom two.

The Olympian, who previously said training has helped her confidence, was asked to perform once again after getting the lowest number of public votes, alongside Lady Leshurr.

After the ladies performed in the skate-off, the judges were then asked to choose who they wanted to keep in the competition.

Ashley Banjo, John Barrowman, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean all unanimously voted to keep Lady Leshurr, meaning Amy, 21, and her partner Joe were leaving the skating competition.

After finding out the news, host Holly Willoughby said: "In the short time that we've had you, you've been an absolute joy to watch, you came into the competition late and you literally hit the ground running."

During her final speech, Amy gushed: "I have had the best time, and I am so thankful to have met Joe, he has been the best partner ever."

Amy was brought in as a reserve on 26 January after Denise dislocated her shoulder and suffered three bone fractures following a fall, leaving her out of the competition.

The official Dancing On Ice Instagram announced the news of Amy joining the show, with a picture of the stunning blonde.
