Pregnant Kate Ferdinand looks radiant as she shares snap of blossoming baby bump

Pregnant Kate Ferdinand looked radiant on Saturday as she shared a snap of her blossoming baby bump.

The former TOWIE star, 31, announced the news that she and former footballer husband Rio Ferdinand are expecting their second child together last week. It comes just six months after the couple shared the tragic news of their miscarriage.

The announcement was made on Instagram, with 31-year-old Kate sharing a black and white clip of her revealing her blossoming baby bump with the heart-warming caption: "We’ve been praying for you…"

Kate looked elegant as she wore a black dress paired with boots and a coat with the music Lovin’ You by Minnie Riperton over the top.

And in new snaps today, the mother-to-be looked glowing as she shared bump updates on her Instagram Stories.

Posting a mirror selfie to her 1.4million followers, the blonde beauty beamed as she cradled her tummy.

She wrote: "Now you see it…" followed by: "Now you don’t (kinda) lool”, as she turned to the front, revealing her petite frame which hid the bump completely out of view.

Kate looked cosy as she wore a grey long sleeve bodysuit and some comfy black joggers.

This is Kate’s second child after the couple welcomed baby Cree in December 2020.

Former footballer Rio and Kate got married back in 2019 in a beautiful beach ceremony in Marmaris, Turkey, after dating for three years.

Kate became the stepmum to Rio’s three children, Lorenz, 16, Tate, 13, and Tia, 11, who he had with his late wife Rebecca Ellison, who tragically passed away in 2015 after a battle with breast cancer.

On the 'Blended' podcast released earlier this week, Kate became emotional speaking about Rebecca.

Kate said she thought Rebecca was an incredible mother and revealed one of her last incredible acts of motherhood before her tragic passing.

She said Rebecca made it her mission to go to Tia’s then fourth birthday party despite being so ill.

Kate said: “This is so emotional. I don’t know if I’ve spoken about this but it was her mission to go to [Tia’s] birthday party.

“It’s very similar and they were so ill but the strength to go to their children’s birthday party. It makes my heart warm but it’s sad as well.”

She said it makes her "so emotional" because "it’s amazing" that Rebecca could be "so selfless" still putting herself "at the bottom of the pile" and prioritising her daughter’s happiness on the day of her birthday.
