Premier League giants set to rival Liverpool for Ramsey’s signature

Aaron Ramsey will be the subject of a transfer tug of war with Liverpool and Manchester United ready to battle for his signature, according to reports.

The Welshman’s Arsenal contract expires in the summer, and he looks set to leave the Emirates in January after failing to agree terms on a new deal.

Liverpool have already been linked with the midfielder, who could follow his friend and former Gunners team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Anfield.

But Manchester United are also keen on signing the midfielder, according to the Evening Standard, with Ramsey ready to snub a move abroad to remain in the UK.

Arsenal were hopeful of tying Ramsey down to a new deal before the agency representing the player confirmed he will be leaving.

Avid Sports & Entertainment Group made it clear on social media – in tweets that have now been deleted – that Ramsey has no future at the club.
