Ranvir Singh, 43, has been wowing audiences with her sultry dance moves on the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing. The Good Morning Britain host is currently partnered with Giovanni Pernice, 30, on the BBC show.

The ITV anchor recently took to Twitter and addressed the positive benefits of taking to the dance floor.

It comes as the presenter was quizzed by a social media user about her health after they claimed to have gained three stone during lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

They went on to praise Ranvir for her dance moves on Strictly,

The person in question wrote: “Oh wow you were just amazing.

“I sat here with my mug of hot chocolate and thought ‘I want to dance like that!’

“Then I said ‘Don’t be silly. You’re 67 and have put on three stone over the last two lockdowns! But you’ve made me want to remove it all! I hope you win.”

Ranvir retweeted the sweet post as she dished on her weight loss since her appearance on the programme.

In view of her 87,000 Twitter followers, the Strictly star penned: “YES! I’ve lost weight through dancing and feel better for it! Go for it.”

Fans flocked to comment on the post, as one person said: “You didn’t need to lose weight.

“You look so beautiful and so happy- making us all smile.”

Another person commented: “You have always looked great, but now you look amazing Ranvir!! Simply glowing!”

“You look amazing and can see how much you’re enjoying dancing,” a third person commented.

Another Twitter user added: “You look stunning.”

Meanwhile, Ranvir and her Strictly dance partner Giovanni scored an impressive 27 points out of 30 for their sexy Argentine Tango on last week’s episode.

The couple made it through to the sixth week of Strictly and head judge Shirley Ballas has put their success on the show down to their “special chemistry”.

The dancing duo left viewers stunned with their sensual routine to When Doves Cry.

Shirley has since confessed that she could be the “dark horse” of the competition.

Speaking on Lorraine, the Strictly judge said of the routine: “Well let me tell you, Ranvir was all sizzle this weekend.

“There was a sensuality about the female movement, there was something special in the chemistry between the two of them, it was like they were just in a room all on their own and we were able to look in the windows.

“She is sensational… She could be the dark horse by the way.”
