The son of former Boyzone band member Ronan Keating is set to head into the Casa Amor villa on Love Island.
Jack Keating, 23, has been announced as one of the latest singletons to go on the show which will be aired tonight, and his famous dad is said to be 'buzzing' about it.
Jack is the second celebrity offspring to enter the famous villa to look for love, as he will be joining Gemma Owen, 19, the eldest daughter of footballing ace, Michael Owen.
Speaking ahead of his entrance on the show, Jack said: "My dad is a singer, Ronan Keating. He will be watching when I’m on it for sure.
"He’s buzzing for me, me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates."
Jack's family is posting on social media on his behalf whilst he's a contestant on the hit ITV2 dating show.
On his Instagram, they wrote: "Officially entering the villa of love #casaamor. Your new favourite Irish lad Jackoooo, will be on your screens @9pm tonight @loveisland @itv2.
Ronan, 45, and his eldest son are said to share a very close bond.
The singer took to Instagram in March to wish his son a happy birthday, telling him he was 'so proud' of him.
Alongside some snaps of Jack, Ronan wrote: Happy birthday buddy. So proud of you Son. What a man you have grown into. 23 years gone by in a blink. Love you with all my heart. Let’s have a blinder of a day. @jackkeating11 #23
Ronan previously admitted that he 'couldn't watch' Love Island if his 21 year old daughter Missy appeared on it, after rumours swirled that she was lined up to go on it.
The Boyzone singer appeared on Good Morning Britain when host Ben Shephard asked him: “I was very excited to hear the rumour that Missy, your daughter, may be making her way onto Love Island?
“Is there any truth, will we be watching her in the new series?”
Ronan then dropped his smile and shook his head, as he admitted: “I haven’t heard anything, but you never know, I mean these kids are busy, all my kids are busy doing different things.
"I haven’t heard anything myself at the moment.”
While the 45-year-old didn’t give a definitive answer about whether Missy would appear in series eight of the ITV2 show, he did quickly reveal that he “wouldn’t be able to watch” if she did.
Kate Garraway asked him: “How would you feel, as I’m sure you love Love Island, but I wonder if it’s different watching a Dad with a daughter on it?”
Ronan paused for a moment before he said “Pass” and left the presenter in stitches. He then added: “I don’t know what I think about that one. I wouldn’t be able to watch.”
It seems as though he didn't need to worry though, as Jack is the one going on the show.
