Seann Walsh and Katya Jones have got a lot of flak from Strictly Come Dancing fans for their drunken snog.
But now a former professional dancer on the show has revealed that attachments between dance partners are common on the BBC show.
Gleb Savchenko – who quit the show in 2016 to join the US version – has revealed the Strictly curse is real and completely normal.
"A lot of stuff happens secretly that we don’t know about," Gleb told the Sun .
“It’s obvious the dancers have feelings – it’s not necessarily that they want to go and f*** them but a lot of people do."
“It’s normal if you’re single but if you’re not single then OK, you’ve taken that a bit too far.
“I know from the past that these things happen and people get married and even stay together from the curse – it happens.
And he suggested that everyone on the show have an agreement to keep flings quiet, adding: "Whatever happens on Strictly stays on Strictly, let’s remember that."
Yesterday Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood blamed Katya for the snogging scandal with Seann.
The Strictly villain was upstaged last week when Seann and Katya were pictured kissing in the street .
Craig did praise the "brave" couple for returning to the competition to do their "Dance of Shame".
However, he took aim at married professional dancer Katya by insisting she should "not have allowed it to happen".
The Loose Women panel were initially shocked by Craig’s claims, but were intrigued by his convincing argument for blaming Katya.
Craig believes that Katya’s crime was worse because she was the "teacher snogging the student".
He also referenced the fact that Katya is married to fellow pro Neil Jones, while Seann was dumped by his partner Rebecca Humphries.
Speaking on Loose Women, Craig said: "They are professional, they are being paid to do the job.
"I would put the ball in Katya’s court. She should not have allowed it to happen. One – she’s married. Two – he’s in a relationship that’s now over."
Craig compared their situation to snogging the boss at a Christmas party.
He admitted he was glad that they came back on the show to "face the music".
The judge added: "I thought they were brave to come back not he show and do their ‘Dance of Shame’ as I put it.
"If you snog someone at the Christmas party like you shouldn’t have, like your boss, you have to turn up on Monday even if there are imprints on the photocopying machine.
"You have to face the music and dance. They did and I’m glad they did."
This came moments after Anton du Beke claimed Seann and Katya were ‘overmarked’ in the wake of the snog scandal on another ITV daytime show.
Speaking on This Morning, Anton claimed the pair were "kindly marked" on last weekend’s show.
Anton confessed he did not think they merited a score of 28, which took them up to fifth place in the leaderboard and helped them progress to another week.
