Shaughna Phillips goes makeup free in pic with baby girl and ‘doesn’t care’ how she looks

New mum Shaughna Phillips said she “doesn't care” how she looks anymore as she showed off her natural beauty by going makeup free in her latest Instagram post.

The proud new mum gave birth to her daughter, Lucia, last week weighing 8lb 8oz and Shaughna is not only celebrating her daughter being one week old, but also celebrating herself turning 28 today.

The Love Island star celebrated the occasion by sharing a sweet snap of the pair at a local coffee shop where Shaughna looked stylish in a brown dress and black leather jacket.

She wore black sunglasses and had her hair slicked back as she had one hand on a baby carrier with little Lucia sleeping comfortably inside.

She then posted the adorable picture to her Instagram stories where she wrote the caption: “Insta is so much easier when you don't care what you look like anymore”, along with a laughing face emoji.

The initial Instagram caption read: “Happy birthday to me & happy one week old to my dream girl Lucia, the only present mama could ever wish for.”

She also revealed to fans that she had finally obtained Lucia’s birth certificate and added: "Lucia also became an official person today! Life is so much more now, I’m obsessed."

Shaughna’s celeb pals rushed to support the new mum in the comments, as well as wishing her a happy birthday.

Fellow former Love Island starDemi Jones, 24, who starred alongside Shaughna in the first series of Winter Love Island in 2020, said, “Happy birthday my beautiful girl!!” and posted a throwback picture to her Insta stories. Former presenterLaura Whitmore, 37, wished Shaughna a happy birthday too.

Shaughna gave birth to Lucia on 4 April 2023 after she was induced after going past her due date.

After giving birth, Shaughna took to her social media to write: “my darling Lucia, I wish I had you sooner so I could love you longer”, in an adorable tribute shared with her 1.4 million Instagram followers.

Shaughna has also opened up to fans about the struggles she has been facing after having a C-section.

In another Instagram post she said: “I had a wild ride lol. But honestly, it doesn't matter how she got here, what matters is that she's here safe and sound… I've definitely struggled not being able to do much for Lucia myself because of my recovery but the support I've had from family is more that I could ever ask for! My mum often spends the nights burping the baby and consoling me”.
