Tess Daly, 52, was showered with compliments earlier today, as she shared a photograph of her outfit for a date night with husband Vernon Kay. The Strictly Come Dancing host paid homage to the BBC show by wearing a glamorous all-black ensemble with a feather trim.

In the snap, Tess can be seen smiling as she looks away from the camera.

The former model paired the feather-trimmed ensemble with strappy heels and complemented the look with a natural hairstyle.

In view of her 770,000 followers, Tess wrote: “Date night during Strictly season means feathers are on the menu.”

She also added a laughing emoji and a dancer emoji, alongside the hashtag “#extra”.

The TV personality also previously shared tips for a healthier diet.

She told fans on Instagram: “I find that making smoothies with wholesome ingredients and eating healthily in front of the children really encourages them to reach for the good stuff too and it stops them asking for chocolate.

“It’s good for me as my energy doesn’t slump afterwards, and I’m not reaching for sweet stuff to pick me up again.”
