Real Madrid have had to count on Sergio Ramos for a lot of things over the years.
Be it a last minute equaliser in a Champions League final, or taking out the oppositions main striker in another.
But now it seems the club are even listening to Ramos’ tips on which players they should buy.
Club President Florentino Perez has reportedly seeked out Ramos for advice on potential transfer targets, according to Marca .
And the Spanish defender was more than happy to give Perez his two cents on who should be next in through the door at Los Blancos.
Marca suggest the 32-year-old has pinpointed 17-year-old Santos forward Rodrygo and River Plates Exequiel Palacios as two players he’d like to see in the white of Madrid.
Rodrygo is already on Real’s radar, but it is thought Santos want to keep the hot prospect until at least the end of the season.
The Brazilian can play on either wing or as a striker, and has scored seven goals in 37 appearances for his club this campaign.
Palacios meanwhile is a 20-year-old midfield player, who has caught the eye after being capped twice by his national side Argentina.
Madrid have a reported transfer kitty of 200 million euros to splash – but it appears they are to turn their attentions elsewhere.
Ramos could even have reason to be concerned, given that the club are said to be in the hunt for a new centre-back.
23-year-old Espanyol defender Mario Hermoso is reportedly top of their list of targets, with a move in January possible.
