Tom Holland is taking on a dramatic new role for his upcoming film Cherry!
The Spider-Man actor plays a young man who struggles with PTSD after his army service and turns to robbing banks.
Tom celebrated the trailer’s release with a post on Instagram: ““I am so excited to share this with you all, this film means so much to me. Being given the opportunity to work with such incredible people is something I’ll never take for granted. So to, @therussobrothers @ciarabravo @jeffwahlbrg @mgandolfini and the rest of the incredible cast and crew, thank you for making this such a special film to work on. Enjoy! Tom x.”
Cherry was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who also directed Tom in Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War. Also starring in the film are Jack Reynor, Michael Rispoli, Jeff Wahlberg, Forrest Goodluck and Michael Gandolfini.
Cherry will premiere in select theaters on February 26 and globally on
Apple TV+ March 12.
