Downton Abbey star Tuppence Middleton is expecting her first child as she unveiled her blossoming baby bump at the premiere of the new film.
The 35 year old actress, who plays Lucy Branson in the franchise, made the revelation as she walked the red carpet for the Downton Abbey: A New Era premiere at Leicester Square's Cineworld on Monday 25 April evening.
Tuppence, whose co-star Allen Leech is expecting his second child with wife Jessica, looked gorgeous as she walked down towards photographers in a tight-fitted black gown with off-the-shoulder straps that featured sparkling silver sequins. It also had a thigh-high split on her left leg.
Teaming the look with a pair of silver strappy heels and a matching silver sparkling necklace, Tuppence styled her brunette mane down into loose waves.
Sporting a light smokey brown eye, the stunning star opted for a touch of pink blush with a deep rose lipstick to round it off.
Tuppence couldn't help but smile as she posed in front of the Downton Abbey sign, placing one hand on her bump as she debuted her pregnancy to the world.
She later signed some autographs for fans before then posing for photos with Swedish director Måns Mårlind, who she is set to join forces with for a book.
Måns told Nordisk Film & TV Fond about their new venture together: "We have been looking for something to do together for quite some time now and then suddenly Johanna’s wonderful book came to mind.
"It is a highly original, dark and touching folk horror set in our modern world where Trolls are rare, but do exist. It was when Tuppence suggested we move the story from Finland to London I realised this was meant to be."
It has not been confirmed who the father of her child is as Tuppence keeps her private life largely out of the spotlight.

Previously, Tuppence was in a relationship with figurative painter Robert Fry from 2016 to 2019.
At the time, a friend claimed their careers had a large part in their split as they told Mirror: "It's very sad, but their careers pulled them in opposite directions. They tried to make it work, but in the end they decided to split. It was very amicable."
Upon hearing of the news of her pregnancy, fans flocked to Twitter to share their congratulations.
"Congratulations [email protected] gorgeous and glowing in that dress and smile!" one person wrote.
Another said: "Baby bump on the Red Carpet," followed by a heart eyes emoji, while a third added: "Awww congratulations to her!'
Tuppence joined the Downton Abbey cast in the 2019 movie and now again in the 2022 film. She is also widely known for her roles in the likes of The Current War, The Imitation Game, War & Peace and Sense8.
