Wait … Change in Plans? Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Reportedly Still Expect to See One Another

Here comes some potentially bad news for all of the Pete-hating Arianators who have been celebrating Ariana Grande’s reported split from her fiance. The two may not be truly “split” after all.

People Magazine tonight is saying that while the couple have ended their engagement, Ariana and Pete “still plan to spend time together.” People‘s sources say that Ariana and Pete have agreed just to “slow things down.”

The sources suggest that the real reason for the engagement being called off was the pressure Ariana felt when thinking about her wedding plans. “She realized that planning a wedding right now felt very rushed,” the sources reported to People.  “It’s not what she wants to do right now. She doesn’t want to make any rushed decisions and has decided to take a step back instead.”

These sources conflict somewhat with reports earlier today that the main driver for Ariana’s pulling the plug on the engagement were the emotions that she felt in the wake of former boyfriend Mac Miller’s tragic death. Of course, it is possible that Mac Miller’s death and stress related to the the wedding planning both factored into Ariana’s decision to call off the engagement.

On the other hand, it is also possible that different sources are hearing different stories from Ariana or Pete. Alternatively, the situation could just be a fluid one, as Ariana and Pete have shown themselves to be pretty impulsive toward each other over the course of their relationship.

After all, the two did get engaged after only dating for three weeks.

Do you think that Ariana and Pete are really through?
