Loved-up Jacqueline Jossa and hubby Dan Osborne could be about to renew their wedding vows as we learn they’re “happier than ever” after working hard to get their marriage to a good place.
It hasn’t been plain sailing for the couple, but a source exclusively told OK! last week that a vow renewal ceremony could be on the cards as the couple are now totally “solid” in their relationship.
They told us that despite previous allegations of cheating and a brief separation, the EastEnders favourite, 30, and her ex-TOWIE star husband are doing great and focusing on their two young daughters, Ella, eight, and five-year-old Mia.
“As a couple, they’re happier than ever,” our source said. “Over the last two or three years, their relationship has just gotten stronger and now it’s so solid.”
They continued, “They’re past everything they’ve read in the press and they’re pushing forward in the right direction. And I think part of that is down to Dan just growing up.”
Dan’s alleged wandering eye has tested his wife’s patience to the limit over the years, and the 32-year-old has admitted that he’s “made mistakes” in the past.
According to our source, Dan has learnt the hard way that the party-boy lifestyle he enjoyed on ITV reality show TOWIE wasn’t going to work for him as a married dad-of two.
“It reached the point where he put family over being a ‘lad’ and it made the world of difference,” they explain.
It seems as though that truly is the case, as the pair were recently spotted enjoying a romantic trip together in Spain. Jacqueline was seen laughing and joking with her besotted husband on a yacht off the Spanish coast.
And our source said the pictures say it all. “They’re done with kids,” they told us. “But I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a vow renewal soon. Once you’ve already got kids and you’re married, there doesn’t seem like much else to look forward to sometimes, so I think Dan and Jac just want to focus on celebrating the little things.
“I think they’ll go abroad with the kids and renew their vows – they love a holiday.”
The couple, who met for the first time at an awards ceremony 10 years ago, initially tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Cheshire Manor House, which used to belong to Take That’s Gary Barlow and is set in 100 acres of countryside
Watched by her fellow EastEnders castmates, including Jake Wood, Dean Gaffney and Adam Woodyatt, Jacqueline looked picture perfect in an ivory satin dress with a scalloped neck and lace sleeves.
But despite making their vows, they’ve had to weather more than one storm during their marriage.
A year after meeting, Jacqueline announced that she was pregnant with their first baby, who they named Ella when she arrived in February 2015. Things seemed to be going well for the couple following a proposal while on holiday in Greece and their subsequent star-studded wedding in summer 2017.
But just 12 months later, Dan was accused of cheating with Gabby Allen, who found fame in Love Island . After briefly separating, Jac and Dan reunited and added their second daughter, Mia, to their family that June.
Further allegations came out about Dan reportedly enjoying a threesome with his fellow Celebrity Big Brother 2018 stars Chloe Ayling and Natalie Nunn, but he vehemently denied that these claims were true.
When Jacqueline was crowned I’m A Celebrity’s Queen of the Jungle in 2019, Dan issued a rare public apology to her, saying he had made mistakes “that have almost cost me my family”.
Dan, who also has a son, Teddy, nine, from a previous relationship, took full responsibility for his actions in the grovelling apology posted to his social media.
He wrote, “I am the luckiest man in the world to have what I have with Jacqueline and my three incredible children and I will spend the rest of my life being the best husband and dad that I can be.”
It seems that Dan has stuck to his word, and the photographs of their romantic trip to Spain appear to prove it. The sunny holiday came after another important occasion for the family – the release of Jacqueline’s new swimwear line for fashion brand In The Style, which she launched with her hubby and kids by her side.
Jacqueline has been extra busy recently. As well as turning her hand to fashion design, she also reprised her role as EastEnders’ Lauren Branning.
She left the BBC soap in 2018 after eight years playing the daughter of Max and Tanya Branning, but Jacqueline returned to Albert Square to film Dot’s funeral episode last year. In recent weeks she surprised fans again by making an unexpected visit to the Beales’.
Having previously described the role as “the best job ever”, there’s speculation she’ll be back as a regular soon. We wish you all the best, guys!
