Ariana Grande: Excuse me, I love you trailer released by Netflix

New films will hopefully be coming out in their hundreds in 2021, after the coronavirus pandemic delayed movie releases and caused many cinemas to shut. With that being said, distributors have turned to streaming platforms to make sure fans get to watch their films, with Warner Bros being one example. Netflix still has new content every week – so what new films will come to Netflix in January?

This month will only see two completely new films come to the Netflix platform.

However, there will still be a whole host of movies which have been previously released, some of which only had a short moment in cinemas before coming to the platform, meaning they will still feel fresh and new.

As well as that, Netflix will launch documentaries galore in January, meaning fans can binge as many as they need to get through the month.

Here are our picks of the new crop, as well as insight into the new films arriving on the platform.
