The Little Mix singer’s close friend and hairdresser, Stefan Bertin, forbids music lovers to listen to the ‘Boyz’ and calls the release of the new track ‘a mess.’
AceShowbiz –Leigh-Anne Pinnock‘s best friend has further fueled the feud between the Little Mix singer and Jesy Nelson. Stefan Bertin, who was at Leigh-Anne’s 30th birthday bash, told music lovers not to stream Jesy’s new single “Boyz”.
After one music lover tweeted that he/she was going to listen to the track, Stefan replied, “Don’t.” Stefan, who is also Leigh-Anne’s hairdresser, previously also slammed P. Diddy for appearing in the song’s music video and allowing Jesy to sample his hit “Bad Boys for Life”.
Stefan tweeted, “Diddy is NOT seeing the pearly gates. He’s not even seeing purgatory.” In a separate post, Leigh-Anne’s BFF wrote, “Straight one way ticket to the underworld. Do not pass go. Do not collect any more Danity Kane royalties.”
As accusations of blackfishing swirled and Jesy appeared on an Instagram Live with her collaborator Nicki Minaj, in which the rapper slammed Leigh-Anne for DMing an influencer and branding Jesy a “horrible person,” Stefan mocked and called the song release “a mess.”
Aside from defending Jesy during the livestream, Nicki alleged that Leigh-Anne had “selective outrage” over Jesy. The “Super Bass” raptress also dubbed Leigh-Anne “a jealous clown.”
Following Nicki’s statement, Leigh-Anne defended herself in an emotional birthday speech. “I’m 30 years old. I know my character, you know my character, anyone that meets me knows my f**king character and that’s all I care about,” she said while holding back her tears.
Leigh-Anne’s fiance, Andre Gray, also stood by her. “You can put this on Instagram or whatever and if you have anything to say, come and find me,” he told the crowd, before noting, “She’s my baby mother, my wife. If you’re going to try and disrespect my baby mother, my wife, my fiancee and my children, there’s gonna be a problem.”
More recently, Jesy seemed to move on from the blackfishing controversy as she partied with her friends to celebrate her new “beginning.” In a recent Instagram post, the 30-year-old singer and her friends were surrounded by food and cocktails as they celebrated “Boyz” going straight to the top of the charts in more than 30 countries. In the caption, she wrote, “It’s only the beginning.”
Prior to the celebration, an informant reported that Jesy and her team are currently working to take a step further with the social media trolls amid the blackfishing drama. “Jesy’s team are trying to protect her from negative trolls,” the insider spilled. “Comments about ‘disrespect’ only amplify things further. Everyone needs to take a step back.”
Jesy also reportedly found the public backlash “a bit much.” The source claimed, “It’s all getting a bit much. The last thing she wanted was to be embroiled in a Little Mix vs Jesy feud. The Girls have been through a lot together and she truly believes everyone can co-exist in the industry without the war of words.”
