Andrea Bocelli has been performing in New York at Madison Square Garden this week. The 63-year-old was joined on stage by his talented children Matteo Bocelli and Virginia Bocelli for duets too. His 24-year-old son, who releases his debut solo album next year, has shared some photos from singing at the famous venue.

Posting the snaps on his Instagram page of himself with Andrea and Virginia, Matteo relished the opportunity to perform at Madison Square Garden.

He captioned it: “Madison Square Garden is the world’s most famous arena. You can feel a special aura here.

“Even during rehearsals with all the seats empty, you feel the energy of this place. Some of the biggest events in sports and music history were held here.”

Matteo then paid tribute to some of the late stars and more who have made the venue so iconic over the years.
