90 Day Fiancé fans know how difficult it is to get a K-1 visa, thanks to the hit TLC reality series. Couples like Rachael Bear and Jon Walters have been forced to continue their romance long-distance due to criminal records complicating the fiancé visa process for the U.S. 90 Day: The Other Way cast member Tiffany Franco opted to relocate to South Africa to be with husband Ronald Smith for that very same reason.
For 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alums Avery Mills and Omar Albakkour, it was President Donald Trump’s “Muslim ban” that ruined their plans to wed stateside. The young couple decided that Ohio-based Avery would move to Syria to be with Omar. Yet then-19 year old Avery’s bank account couldn’t support both her and Omar — let alone sponsor a lengthy visa process — so after briefly living in Syria, Avery returned back to the U.S. after tying the knot with Omar, per Screen Rant. As of January 2021, the couple are living together in Dubai. However, that may change soon after Omar received surprising news. Fans hope Omar Albakkour and Avery Mills will return for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After
Could Avery Mills and Omar Albakkour be back as a surprise duo for 90 Day: Happily Ever After? Avery’s YouTube vlog revealed how Omar’s visa interview in Abu Dhabi went, and he was approved to go to the U.S.!
Redditors were quick to applaud the good news, while also calling for Avery and Omar to return in front of the TLC cameras. “They’re one of the couples I’d love to see again, more so than the insufferable ones they usually give HEA to,” a fan wrote.
“After the mess of the current season, it’s nice to see a legit couple that gets along,” another commented.
However, Avery previously shut down rumors of a 90 Day return on Instagram. “No we won’t be on TV anymore,” Avery responded to a comment on Instagram, adding heart emojis. Regardless Redditors are hoping Avery and Omar will grace the small screen again.
“They are young newlyweds, religious & hoping to start their lives in America so they’ve got enough on their plate,” a fan summed up. “BUT I sure would enjoy seeing them again.”
