Arrowverse crossover unveils first look at Supergirl, Superman and Lois Lane together

Lois Lane finally arrives in the Arrowverse in a first-look photo teasing this December’s crossover for The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl.

The Daily Planet‘s ace reporter – played by Elizabeth Tulloch – gets together with Superman and Supergirl in a sneak peek shared on Instagram by Tyler Hoechlin, who is reprising his role as the Man of Steel in the three-part ‘Elseworlds’.

Tulloch, Hoechlin and Supergirl‘s Melissa Benoist are their civilian alter-egos in the Instagram post, although it was confirmed in a behind-the-scenes snap that Superman will be donning his iconic black costume for the storyline.

This year’s crossover event will see Superman and Supergirl travelling to Gotham City to investigate a strange series of events at Arkham Asylum, which is being run by the shady Dr. John Deegan (Lost‘s Jeremy Davies).

It’s looking more and more like ‘Elseworlds’ takes place outside the main continuity of the Arrowverse (as the title suggests), especially after it was announced that Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin are switching heroic identities as Flash and Green Arrow respectively.

Ruby Rose is also set to make her debut as Batwoman as a backdoor pilot to a potential solo TV series, eyed to debut on The CW next year.

The crossover starts with The Flash on Sunday, December 9 at 8pm ET, followed by Arrow on Monday, December 10 at 8pm ET and Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11 at 8pm ET, all on The CW in the US. Sky1 airs all three series in the UK.
