Caroline Flack stars in new movie where she’s described as a ‘knockout’ after being accused of assault – The Sun

LOVE Island’s former host Caroline Flack makes an unexpected appearance in new Brit flick Greed – where another character calls her a “knockout”.

The 40-year-old presenter surprised cinemagoers at a screening of the movie this week when she popped up in a cameo role, while awaiting trial on an assault charge in real life.

Caroline hasn’t been on TV since being arrested for allegedly hitting boyfriend Lewis Burton with a lamp.

But she does appear on the big screen in the opening scenes of Greed, presenting a billionaire fashion mogul’s wife with a giant cheque.

She is shown giving Isla Fisher’s character Samantha McCreadie the £1.2 billion dividend earned by her husband Richard’s retail empire.

In an unfortunate choice of words, the oily clothes boss, played by Steve Coogan, then calls Caroline “a knockout”.

The film – which hits cinemas on 21 February – also stars David Mitchell, Pixie Lott, James Blunt and Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke who, like Flackers, seems to plays a version of himself.

Caroline had to pull out of hosting the first winter series of Love Island shortly before it went on air in January, instead handing the reins to pal Laura Whitmore.

However, The Sun revealed last month that ITV chiefs want her back if she is cleared of assaulting Lewis, 27, in court next month.

A showbiz source said: “Caroline has been told Love Island want her back for the next series. However, she knows she has to get through the court case first.”

Caroline, arrested after a bust-up with Lewis at her home in North London, on December 12, has moved to another pad in the capital.

This month Lewis insisted they were still together, writing: "We ain't split. Can't wait to see you."

She is alleged to have hit tennis coach Lewis over the head while he slept, causing a head injury, with a court hearing that one police officer “likened the scene to a horror movie”.
