Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty celebrate their 8th wedding anniversary after moving back to the UK from LA

PRESENTER Cat Deeley and husband Patrick Kielty celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary in London last night.

The couple recently swapped California for the UK, having moved into a North London flat earlier this year before the coronavirus pandemic.

After an eventful year, Cat and comedian Patrick celebrated their anniversary at celeb eatery Nobu in London's Park Lane.

So You Think You Can Dance? host Cat looked sensational in a military-inspired mini dress, which accentuated her toned legs.

The TV star complemented her look with a pair of python print heels and a matching handbag while her honey-hued locks fell down in a straight style.

Following his other half's stylish lead, Patrick, 49, donned a pair of navy chinos with a blue shirt and navy jacket.

The pair also sported protective face masks for the romantic evening out.

Cat and Patrick met in 2002 whilst they hosted BBC talent show Fame Academy – but sparks didn't fly between the couple until 10 years later.

The pair went public with their romance when they walked the red carpet together for Glamour's Women of the Year awards in 2011.

Following a whirlwind romance, the couple married in a private ceremony in Rome on September 30, 2012 – and have welcomed two sons.

In an interview on This Morning, Patrick revealed he had "no regrets" about taking so long to romance Cat.

Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford he said things happened exactly as they should: "If we had got together at the start, we could have got on one another’s nerves. All things came at the right time."

Earlier this month, 43-year-old Cat said that she moved back to the UK from California after a "terrifying" mall shooting left Patrick and their son "shaken".

In an interview with You magazine, Cat said Patrick and Milo, 4, were shopping in the Century City Mall in Los Angeles when FBI agents announced there was a shooter on the loose.

She said: "I got a call from Paddy, saying, 'They’re taking us out through the fire exits but nobody can get to their car. If we walk to a junction, can you come and get us?'

"He wanted to keep Milo calm, so I didn’t understand the enormity of what was happening. As I was driving I began to see helicopters, news vans, firemen and SWAT [armed police response] squads.

"It makes me go funny now. It was terrifying… Paddy was shaken by it, more than Milo, who was hot and cranky but didn’t properly understand."

Cat feels happy to be home after swapping her mansion in Los Angeles for a flat in north London.

The Sun exclusively revealed last month that Cat, Patrick, Milo and youngest son James, 2, had put their 4-bed mansion with a desirable 91210 zip code on the market for a whopping $4,995,000.

A source close to Cat told The Sun: "She still has multiple projects in the works in the US and will be here and there for work, but she will be based in Britain for now."
