Celebs Go Dating's Marty McKenna slapped with booze ban after causing chaos and furious rows with co-stars

MARTY McKenna was slapped with a booze ban after causing chaos at the Celebs Go Dating final.

The former Geordie Shore star also caused rows with other contestants who moaned about his behaviour.

It happened during filming for the final episode of the show alongside his co-stars including Ulrika Jonsson and Nikita Jasmine which will air later this year on E4.

A source said: “Marty was acting like a real nuisance during the final of Celebs Go Dating.

“He was drinking so those working on the show tried to stop him having too much as he can be rowdy and disruptive.

“It has been a whirlwind show and all the stars had a fantastic time filming but some of the celebs will be keen not to spend time with Marty again anytime soon.”

The finale was previously postponed because of the pandemic.

It was supposed to have been filmed in London before Christmas but show bosses were forced to change plans to keep everyone safe.

“Marty thinks his antics are fun but to some of the cast he is annoying and rows broke out every now and then.

At the time a spokesman said:  “In light of the wider Covid-19 situation currently impacting the UK, filming for our finale is being rescheduled as health and safety remains the top priority.

“We thank our cast, contributors and crew for following our rigorous Covid-19 protocols, which ensure that we can film the series whilst maintaining a safe environment.

“Viewers can look forward to the return of the celebrity dating agency when Celebs Go Dating airs next year.”
