BETH Tinker faces the consequences of lying about slapping youngster Hope Stape.

Viewers know that Beth slapped Hope out of anger after Hope ran afoul of Peanut the dog.

But Beth denied claims of child abuse forcing Fiz and Tyrone to apologise to her for accusing her.

Next week, the truth finally comes to light when Fiz sees Hope flinch when she gets close to her.

Fiz and Tyrone pop home for a romantic lunch, but they find Hope there who’s skipped school.

As Fiz steps towards her, Hope flinches and begs her not to hit her.

Meanwhile, on Maria's advice, Beth sets out to remind Kirk that she’s a good person underneath.

Beth assures Kirk that she’s chucked Marco’s letter away, but they continue to row.

However, when it gets to the point of Kirk moving out, they realise it’s not what they want and agree to put their differences behind them. 

Elsewhere, Tim gets a blast from the past when Jackson calls at No.4.

He introduces himself to Sally and Tim as Miley’s Dad.

He explains that he and Miley have moved to the UK and he’s been trying to get in touch with Faye.

Sally breaks the news to Tim that Faye’s been ignoring his messages because she doesn’t want to see her daughter, leaving Tim shocked.

Can Tim persuade Faye to see Miley?
