CORONATION Street viewers will have to wait four days until they can watch the fallout to the dramatic factory roof collapse, which killed Rana Habeeb on her wedding day.
Fans of the ITV soap were left devastated after the nurse, who is played by actress Bhavna Limbachia, was crushed by rubble in shocking scenes last night.
While viewers are usually treated to a double bill on a Friday, it has been cancelled for the England vs Czech Republic Euro qualifier.
The change in schedule means fans won't be able to see the next episode until Sunday, with the broadcaster instead airing an hour-long episode, to find out how everyone reacts to Rana's death.
Last night, viewers were left devastated as Rana insisted she got married to fiancée Kate in the rubble after Imran helped her battle through the police to see the nurse for one last time.
"Tell me your vows," she told Kate.
An upset Kate gave in and told her: "You're everything to me, my whole life. Someone said love is one soul in two bodies and that's us.
"I can't exist without you. You are the most beautiful person in the whole world. And you look a million times better than I do.
"And then I was going to go on to say I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. All my love, always."
Rana smiled but said she couldn't remember her vows and began to panic before telling her: "I don't want to leave you."
She eventually found the words and after telling Kate how much she loved her, she added: "All my love, always."
Rana then passed away as Kate broke down in sobs as she lay with her wife in the ruins of the factory.
The Sun exclusively revealed earlier this year how Bhavna had decided to quit the show – and had asked to be killed off.
An ITV source said: "This will devastate fans of the show who have grown to love Kate and Rana, who they nicknamed Kana.
"This was very much Bhavna’s decision, she told Kate Oates last year she wanted to try other things, and sat down with Iain the minute he joined.
"She wanted Rana to be killed off as she didn’t like the idea of just splitting them up as it would upset the fans of the show."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
