Coronation Street spoilers – Corey Brent could die as Asha Alahan plot exposed

The actions of Corey Brent and his gang sent shockwaves down the cobbles and left Seb Franklin dead.

But the evil youngster could be about to get his comeuppance as he finds himself at the mercy of the women he has scorned, Coronation Street spoilers have revealed.

With Asha embroiled in a plot to get the truth out of him by pretending everything is okay between the lovebirds, things look set to come to a head as her plan could finally come to light.

She previously confided in her twin brother Aadi that she was only pretending to support Corey to trick him into telling the truth.

And next week, Asha’s caught out by her ex Nina Lucas, who hears her telling Corey she wants them to get back together.

A horrified Nina points out that it was Corey who killed Seb – but, determined to stick to her plan, Asha defends Corey and leaves Nina devastated by her apparent betrayal.

Asha attempts to assure Nina that she’s still her friend and that things aren’t as they first appear.

Meanwhile, after chatting to Roy, Seb’s mum Abi dumps the bag of Goth dresses in front of Nina and orders her to go and put one on, as Seb would want her to appear at his funeral dressed as the Nina he loved.

Nina has been attempting to blend into the background by donning ‘normal’ outfits after Abi blamed her for the vicious attack she and Seb suffered.

Later, sat beside Seb’s coffin, Abi’s heart breaks as she tells him how she wishes she’d been a better mum to him and the twins.

Finally, the day of the wake rolls around, and as Seb’s hearse pulls up on the street, Abi is clearly emotional. Nina, meanwhile, is disgusted when she sees Corey turn up under the illusion that he wants to pay his respects.

With the wake taking place in the Rovers, Abi is devastated to hear the cruel teenager on his mobile, laughing about Seb’s death. The heartbroken mum grabs a broken bottle and sets off after him, hellbent on revenge.

With Abi on Corey’s tail, Asha clocks the bottle in her hand and pleads with her to drop it, attempting to reason with her by saying Seb wouldn’t want his mum to end up back in prison.

She ends up meeting with a dealer to buy some drugs – but will she relent or go ahead with the attack?

There’s clearly more going on beneath the surface, as Asha convinces Corey that she believes he’s innocent and wants to spend the night with him. But, having secured the drugs from Abi, she slips them into Corey’s drink.

When Abi eventually reveals Asha’s plan to drug Corey and rifle through his phone, Nina is shocked to discover that it’s been a ploy all along. With Corey unconscious, Asha is free to scroll through his phone.

But when a call from a frantic Nina causes him to stir – will it leave Asha in danger?
