In a chilling confession Coronation Street’s Carla Connor admitted to police that she knew more about Rana’s death than expected.
The Corrie star played by Alison King, admitted to killing Rana in an astonishing interview with the investigators.
It all kicked off when the police hit the cobbles to arrest Carla, after Kate Connor and Imran Habeeb turned her in.
The scenes came alongside an joyous Kate Connor, who revelled in the arrest of her sister.
Down at the station, Carla revealed that she knew the roof was unstable, and that she had lied before.
“The only person who knew for a fact that roof unstable was me.” She admitted.
Continuing her emotional confession she said: “Rana died because I was too busy burying my head in the sand trying to keep that factory afloat with a big order on the go so I could have that roof fixed properly.”
Finally adding: “I killed her okay. I killed her. Is that crystal enough for you?”
However fans still couldn’t help but feel sorry for Carla, despite her web of lies and her confession to murder.
Feeling frustrated, viewers took to Twitter to vent about Kate’s brutal behaviour.
Another said: “Really it’s Kate who we should feel for. It’s terrible but whenever she comes on I just think ‘shut up'”
Another continued: “So when’s Kate getting killed off then? She’s the most annoying, self centred character on there now”
Whilst a third snapped: “Kate was a bit harsh on Corrie”
Coronation Street continues tomorrow at 7:30pm on ITV.
