Damon has Paul killed in Coronation Street as he falls into a violent trap?

Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) has started taking on jobs from Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) in Coronation Street in a desperate attempt to earn some money.

Paul stopped his usual work as a builder a few months ago after sustaining a long-term hand injury, which occurred when Carla (Alison King) crashed into him.

Initially, Paul thought his weak hand was because of the crash, but further tests confirmed that he was displaying signs of motor neurone disease.

Now Paul has been officially diagnosed with the illness, he must tell his family about the life-changing news, but he’s distracting himself from that daunting prospect by doing extra work for Damon – and every single job could land him behind bars.

After telling Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) that he’s off to see Dee-Dee, Paul secretly heads out for more work.

When Billy approaches Dee-Dee, she’s confused when he mentions Paul and decides to follow him to Freshco’s car park, where she is horrified to find her friend stealing another car.

Paul’s latest job doesn’t look set to go well, as he later corners Damon in the bistro office and demands £25k or he’ll grass him up.

Damon stands his ground and later double-crosses Paul by calling his criminal contacts, urging them to shut down Paul’s attempt at blackmail.
