EastEnders star Louisa Lytton receives abuse over Ruby and Stacey feud

EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has received abuse over Ruby Allen’s feud with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

Stacey’s return to Walford has brought with it nothing but heartache for Ruby, who has since made it her mission to get revenge on not only her former friend, but the entire Slater clan.

Recent episodes of the BBC One soap have seen the nightclub owner join forces with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) in an effort to run the family in question out of Albert Square.

What’s more, Ruby also orchestrated a brutal attack on Stacey, which left the young woman in a bad way.

In the wake of these scenes, actress Louisa — who portrays Ruby — has revealed that she’s received online abuse, and shared a screenshot of one particular message on her Instagram Stories.

The message in question called Louisa names, and issued abuse over what her character was doing to Stacey.

Louisa informed her followers that abuse such as this is a ‘daily occurrence’.

She added: ‘It’s not real Folks.’

Friday’s episode (October 30) saw Ruby set up a poker game in the club, and used her CCTV cameras to aid Suki in defeating Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami).

EastEnders continues Monday November 2 at 8:05pm on BBC One.
