Emmerdale ‘exit’ for fan favourite after Caleb Milligan betrays Cain again

Emmerdale: Nate and Tracy get married

Emmerdale newcomer Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) decided to stay in the village after he tried conning Kim Tate (Claire King) out of money.

He also ended up betraying his own half-brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) during his plan to rip off Kim.

However, in upcoming scenes in the ITV soap, Caleb is set to betray Cain once again by going into business with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh).

An exit could also be on the cards for one villager after Cain and Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) are forced to make a difficult decision with their farm.

In official spoilers released by ITV, Tracy is gutted to receive a loan rejection from the bank and she’s struggling to find any enthusiasm for her job at the B&B.

Bob (Tony Audenshaw) clocks that she’s feeling low and bamboozles her into feeling more motivated.

The next day, Caleb is intrigued to overhear a conversation between Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Nate about Tracy’s struggles to find an investor for her nursery.

Finding her, Tracy’s left with food for thought when Caleb offers to invest in her proposed nursery.

However, Nate is left frustrated with Tracy when it looks like she’s tempted to go into business with Caleb as he knows it will infuriate Cain – which in turn, could also tear their family apart.

Tracy accuses Nate of caring more for Cain’s feelings than for the welfare of his family.

Meanwhile, with the farm still struggling financially, Cain tells Moira it’s time for them to make a tough choice.

He suggests either Nate or Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) must be made redundant.

Their decision could not only cause tensions between their families, but it could also lead to the exit of one villager.

Later, Nate’s relieved when Tracy sees how involving Caleb in her nursery would cause ructions with Cain.

However, when Moira announces that he and Mack are going to be put in a competitive interview process for the one remaining job at the farm, furious Tracy immediately makes a call to Caleb to take him up on his offer and Nate no longer has a leg to stand on.

Will Caleb invest in Tracy’s business idea and if so how will Cain react?

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
