Emmerdale fans have predicted what Wendy Posner's secret could be after her ex Russ turned up and has been threatening to disclose her past to the village.
Russ (Rob Jarvis) has been terrorising Wendy (Susan Cookson) after he discovered that his mother had left a large sum of money to his grandson and Victoria's child Harry.
Only recently, he threatened his ex saying that he wants the £50,000 that his mum "should have left him", warning that he will "let something slip" about her past to the village and that she, as well as her family, won't have a "future".
And in the latest episode, Russ made a cryptic comment about Wendy as he spoke about her being a "qualified nurse".
Talking to Victoria and Bob Hope in front of Wendy, the newcomer said he had broke his back five years ago.
To which Wendy replied: "Well, you must have had a good surgeon. Looking at you, you can hardly tell!"
With Russ responding: "It's the miracle of modern medicine, you should know, being a qualified nurse" and Wendy then looked concerned over the statement.
Emmerdale fans were quick to predict that Wendy's secret could be to do with her job as a nurse as they questioned whether she was actually "qualified" after Russ' dig.
One person said: "Wendy's secret? She’s not actually Qualified as a Nurse after all? Killed a patient maybe even? #Emmerdale."
A different fan put: "So my theory is Wendy's secret is she isn't a fully qualified nurse. #Emmerdale."
Another follower commented: "So was he suggesting that Wendy is not a qualified nurse. Is that her secret #Emmerdale."
While a different viewer predicted: "Is Wendy actually ‘not legally qualified’ as a nurse & her ex did something dodgy back in the day and this is the hold he has over her?? #Emmerdale."
It comes after soap fans went wild after recognising newcomer Russ, who is played by Rob Jarvis, from BBC's Hustle where he starred as barman Eddie between 2004 to 2012.
As well as Hustle, the actor has had several roles over the years in a slew of TV shows including the likes of Holby City, Marcella, Call the Midwife and Doctor Who.
Rob has also had several narrating jobs over the years, which include the likes of National Geographic channel and Britain's Best Dish in 2011.
