The star – who plays Charity Dingle's vet girlfriend Vanessa Woodfield in the hit soap – opened up about the romance in an Instagram post for National Coming Out Day on Thursday.
Michelle, who was was married to her wife Rosie Nicholl from 2015 until 2017, posted two photos of her and Kate wrapped up warm by the river and her cute caption was accompanied by several loveheart emojis.
She wrote: "It will all work out in the end #behappy #nationalcomingoutday #loveislove @thekatebrooks".
National Coming Out Day (NCOD) takes place every year on October 11.
The celebration was started in the US in 1988 by activists Robert Eichberg and Jean O'Leary, who wanted to find a positive way to respond to anti-LGBT action.
Michelle recently told The Sun Online that she's been inundated with fans telling her their personal stories since her character Vanessa hooked up with Charity, who's played by actress Emma Atkins.
She told us: "The reaction has been incredible.
But I think what's great is this is two women who are in their early 40s and one of them is discovering her sexuality and who she is.
"It's lovely and it's refreshing and it happens in real life so it's great to be telling that story.
She continued: "I've had so many tweets and so many messages over the last couple of days saying 'Oh thank you to you and Emma, you're a true representation for the community'.
"Or others saying 'Because of your storyline I've come out to my parents'.
"I've been getting a lot of that recently which I've had before in the past but even more so now.
"It's just fantastic, if we're helping people then that's our job done."
