GAME Of Thrones star Kit Harington is splashing £1million on a home makeover – including a brand new boiler system.
The 33-year-old actor lives in the Grade II listed Tudor mansion with his wife and co-star Rosie Leslie.
The £1.75m property boasts a swimming pool, stables, a tennis court, a pavilion, banqueting hall and croquet lawn.
Now the couple have submitted plans for further renovations since buying it last year after their wedding in 2018.
A design and access statement sent to the council insisted a new heating system needs to be installed, including a boiler, radiators and pipes and oil tanks in the garden.
It added: "Since their purchase at the end of last year the new owners, Mr and Mrs Harrington, have been undertaking internal redecoration and minor repairs as a first phase project.
"Appropriate repairs to address the previous unauthorised repairs and other works to the timber frame that will address issues of damp and the previous use of inappropriate materials."
Kit – who played Jon Snow in GoT – bought the property and its eight acres of land with wife Rosie.
Gushing about his home in a BBC interview, Kit said: "I was looking all over for a place. I looked in many different areas of the country.
"I was actually looking in Norfolk and then I kept driving through Suffolk and thinking, 'I really quite like this county'.
"So I found my own little spot in the county of Suffolk and I'm now a Suffolk boy. I love it. It is really special to me."
The council is expected to make a decision on the application next month.
Kit and Rosie met on the set of the hit show when they played onscreen lovers before falling in love backstage in 2012.
Their engagement was formally announced in The Times newspaper.
The couple's ad stated: "Mr K.C. Harington and Miss R.E. Leslie.
"The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcesterhire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire."
Shortly after finishing Game of Thrones last year, Kit checked into rehab for alcohol issues and stress.
He stayed at the luxury Prive-Swiss health retreat in Connecticut costing over £94,800 a month.
