The music superstar also spills on how he came up with his stage name.
Travis Scott credits his girlfriend Kylie Jenner for his knowledge of juice.
While appearing on the "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Friday night, the rapper spoke about his musical upbringings, Broadway aspirations, and a love for Jamba Juice. Fallon asked Scott about the origin of a lyric in his song "SICKO MODE" where he raps about the smoothie chain.
"You rap about Jamba Juice," Fallon said. "Now, I love Jamba Juice, but you clearly like Jamba Juice?"
"My girl is actually a super Jamba Juice fan and she turned me on to [it]," Scott said.
Fallon asked the "STARGAZING" rapper if he would mind putting his juice expertise to the test and participate in the Jamba Juice taste challenge, where he had to guess the correct beverage by name by drinking out of a styrofoam cup and covered straw. "I got you," Scott said, agreeing to the challenge.
Scott guessed the first two juices — Orange Carrot Karma and Pumpkin Smash — correctly after only having one sip of each. Since Fallon knew that the "Goosebumps" singer was a Jamba Juice expert, he added an extra twist for the third cup.
"You will blow my mind if you can get this," Fallon said. "Because we mixed two juices in one juice…There is two Jamba Juices in this one, if you can guess what two juices made the master beverage right there."
After a few sips, the rapper said he noticed some "peachy" and "berry" notes in the juice.
"Peachy Pleasure and Berry Upbeat," Scott guessed, and Fallon exclaimed, "It’s Peach Pleasure and Berry Upbeat! Oh my god…Travis Scott, the master!"
Scott’s real name is Jacques Berman Webster II, and he told Fallon about how he came up with his stage name. The rapper explained that his name is based off two of the "superheroes" in his life, Kid Cudi and his uncle Travis.
"My uncle is named Travis and Kid Cudi is like one of my favorite artists of all time, his real name is Scott Mescudi," Scott said. "My uncle’s friends called him Scott too so it kinda like worked out like that…my two superheroes."
Scott, who shares daughter Stormi with Jenner, expressed that his has aspirations outside the world of hip-hop. Scott recalled that he was in a Thespian Society in high school and even remembers some of the lyrics from the musical "Kiss Me Kate." Fallon asked the rapper he would like to possibly appear on Broadway someday.
"Yeah always, definitely," he replied.
