Ruthie Henshall has become the second campmate to be voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2020.
The musical theatre star received the fewest public votes and was eliminated from the Welsh castle in scenes that aired tonight, just two days after paralympian Hollie Arnold got the boot.
Speaking to presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Ruthie said: ‘That was brutal.’
‘You have absolutely no control in there,’ she continued. ‘You don’t know what’s coming next. And the rollercoaster of emotions is ridiculous.
‘You start thinking about things you haven’t thought about in years and you’re falling from emotion to emotion, but then of course, everybody in there is so delightful and wonderful that there was a real camaraderie in there.
‘Nothing went unnoticed if you were up or down.’
Ruthie’s exit comes after Hollie, who was’devastated’ to be the first celebrity to leave the castle.
‘I never really knew what to expect so it’s like, go in there, enjoy every single minute of it,’ she told the presenters. ‘It’s a crazy opportunity for me.’
Vernon Kay, Victoria Derbyshire, Shane Richie, Jordan North, Beverley Callard, AJ Pritchard, Giovanna Fletcher, Sir Mo Farah CBE, Jessica Plummer, and Russell Watson are the 10 celebrities remaining.
They will be battling it out to be named the first king or queen of the castle in Friday’s grand finale.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
