The popular reality series is back in Gwrych Castle for the second year running due to ongoing coronavirus restrictions. However, that didn’t stopped Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly from torturing Emmerdale’s Danny Miller with a face-full of grubs, worms and insects in the ITV show’s intense series finale.

Many viewers felt Danny deserved to be crowned King of the Castle after facing one of his toughest challenges yet.

The soap actor was strapped to a chair with a see-through helmet sealed on his head, which was gradually filled with Castle critters.

Anzi tweeted: “F*****g hell after that Danny 100% deserves to win.”

And Megan Treacy said: “I honestly don’t know how Ant and Dec can watch him go through that. #ImACelebrity DANNY TO WIN!”
