Inside EastEnders star Louisa Lytton's sunsoaked romantic getaway with her hunky fiance

EASTENDERS actress Louisa Lytton's life is a far cry from her character Ruby Allen's in the BBC One soap.

The 30 year-old actress has jetted off on a romantic getaway with her hunky fiance Ben Bhanvra after he proposed to her in the Maldives last year.

Ben popped the question back in May and the pair have been busy planning their wedding which will take place next year.

While many couples would be tightening their purse strings ahead of their big day, Louisa and Ben have splashed out on an incredible holiday as they escaped the dreary UK winter.

The couple are living it up at a mystery beach resort, with Louisa deciding not to tag their location as she left fans green with envy on Instagram.

However, she hinted that they could be in the Dominican Republic, having shared a photo of their traditional drink Mama Juana.

In photos on her social media, the star posed in what looked like paradise as she relaxed on the beach before returning to work on EastEnders.

In one snap, Louisa lay sprawled on a fallen palm tree as her husband-to-be played cameraman, and she wrote on her pic: "Get up. You have a wedding to plan."

In another, she leaned on a wall that was painted with the words "all you need is sunshine" and the star captioned her photo: "And rum."

Not leaving Ben out, she shared sundrenched photos of the hunk and admired her man as she wrote: "One for the mums."

Speaking about Ben proposing to her last year, Louisa, who has been dating Ben for just over a year,  said: “When I saw him on one knee I started crying like a baby.

"I was so excited but my brain went into overdrive and I started freaking out. I had no idea he was going to propose.”

But Ben's proposal in the Maldives almost didn't go to plan because they were interrupted by a cleaner.

Ben told OK! Magazine: “I took Louisa to a quiet part of the island where I knew no one else would be around.

“I told her I wanted to fly my drone to get some aerial pictures of the island, although really I wanted it to capture a video of the moment I proposed.

“I told her I wanted to fly my drone to get some aerial pictures of the island, although really I wanted it to capture a video of the moment I proposed.

“As soon as I got it up in the air and reached to get the ring from the bag a cleaner walked past and was so mesmerised by the drone he was just stood next to us staring at it for ages.

“I had to wait for him to leave. The cleaner finally disappeared so I got a speaker out of my bag that I was going to use to play a song for when I proposed but the Wi-Fi signal was bad so I couldn’t get it to play.

“By this point I was so frustrated that I just grabbed the ring and got down on one knee!”

The couple are planning to tie the knot in America in the summer of 2021 after they buy a house together.
