Inside Stacey Solomon's 'secret room' she hides from fans – with huge fireplace and quirky mirror

STACEY Solomon unveiled her home's "secret room" that she has previously kept hidden from fans on Instagram today.

The 30-year-old star showed off a huge fireplace and quirky mirror in the space after followers spotted a glimpse in a previous post.

The mother-of-three enthusiastically shares her life on social, which is why her 3.9 million fans were shocked to see somewhere new in her house as she filmed herself taking down Christmas decorations.

After being inundated with curious messages, Stacey took to her Instagram Story to do a full tour.

She explained: "I was reading your messages and so many of you were like: 'Stace, what is that secret room with the fireplace?'

"It's not a secret room, I promise, it's just I started decorating it and never finished so I hardly come in here."

The DIY-Queen then showed off the simple layout, which included a stunning beamed ceiling, huge beige corner sofa, eye-catching bay window that lets in plenty of natural light, and the beautiful fireplace.

A huge brown mat covers much of the wooden floor, with a wicker storage basket in one corner and pink Fejkas on the windowsill.

A large TV is installed above the fire, and Stacey shared her plans to put a piece of timber in-between to "finish it off nicely".

An ottoman can be seen in one corner, with the TV favourite adding: "I've got a unit I'd like to put in there that I ordered, I'm waiting for that to come."

She also showed off wall panelling she'd done herself – but admitted that it is incomplete.

Going over her to-do list, Stacey told fans: "I want to repaint the fireplace, paint the windowsills, clean the radiator, clean the chair… And hopefully it'll be a room!"

Followers loved the glimpse into the hidden spot, and took particular notice of the rope and seashell mirror above the sofa.

Posting a close-up photo of the decor, Stacey wrote: "So many of you have messaged me lovely messages about my mirror, which makes my tummy go funny because I made it from a piece of rope and an old mirror and some shells.

"I've lost a couple of shells I need to glue back on but it still really makes me smile every time I look at it."

Stacey moved into her stunning "forever" home in Essex in October 2018, and she lives there with fiancée Joe Swash and sons Zachary, 12, eight-year-old Leighton, and baby Rex.
