Jeremy Kyle Show cancelled for the Royal wedding – and fans are furious

The show, which normally kicks off at 9:25am, was scrapped because ITV will be showing Princess Eugenie's nuptials.

The Queen's granddaughter is set to marry her long-term love Jack Brooksbank today at 11am in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, and the broadcaster will be covering the entire ceremony.

Instead of Jezza, viewers will be seeing Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who will be taking the reins for a three-hour special of This Morning.

And fans of The Jeremy Kyle Show are not amused, taking to Twitter to make their feelings known.

One wrote: "No Jeremy Kyle ? Denied!"

Another said: "So Jeremy Kyle ain’t on cause of this Royal Wedding! I don’t even know who they are and we definitely don’t hear about them! #TheJeremyKyleShow #RoyalWedding".

A third raged: "I'm outraged. Jeremy Kyle's wonderful documentary programme cancelled to focus on some paparazzi – bait wedding. Shame on all of you!"

A fourth chimed in: "So I'm looking forward to watching #JeremyKyle and realise it's been replaced by the royal wedding!"

A fifth wrote: "Yooo @ITV where is the #JeremyKyle show this morning!? #RoyalWedding".

Coverage of the £2.25million tax payer-funded wedding will kick off with Eamonn and Ruth standing outside Windsor Castle providing live updates.

The Jeremy Kyle Show will return on Monday at the usual time of 9:25 am.
